Program Management Review

Integrates program management metrics, provides flexibility through the IPMDAR schema, and offers customized information based on user roles.

Part Of:

Comprehensive program management dashboard application that integrates EV, Cost, Time Phasing, Schedule and other artifact metrics that can be drilled down through WBS/OBS structures or viewed at the contract level, leverages the greater flexibiilty and dataset provided by the powerful and flexible IPMDAR schema over earlier, more restrictive government, industry, and proprietary data schemas. As with the IPMR IPPM application, provides flexible environment for one trusted source of this information that is easily customized and focused by user role, responsibility, or position.

  1. IPMDAR Data Quality Checks including automated DECM analysis
  2. Narrative input related to data quality issues and resolution status.
  3. Contract Information includes Program Manager’s overview narrative.
  4. Document links to contract, SOW, or other artifacts necessary for a program review.
  5. Tree list control of WBS Dictionary and Integrated Master Plan interrelationships to the SOW.
  6. DAU Earned Value Management Gold Card overlay for Contract Price information that includes breakdown of Profit/Fee, TAB, further breakdown of TAB to CBB and OTB, breakout of CBB to NCC and AUW, as well as breakdown to PMB/BAC and MR, with breakout of PMB/BAC to DB and UB. Comparisons to previous period values provided to capture changes in period data.
  7. Contract Mod narratives and links supporting changes to elements and data.
  8. Performance summary which includes: narrative summarization of PPM performance, as well as high level S/P/A, CBB, and most likely EAC; visualizations/graphs of Bull’s Eye performance trending, TAB BCWR with ETC and EAC, MR vs. ETC with best and worst case risks, Future period EQP for last three and next 12 months, 12-month performance of the project/program, CPI/SPI trending last twelve months for discrete performance only, current period metrics for summary WBS and OBS elements.
  9. Roadmap for viewing of summary milestone schedules.
  10. Performance detail information from highest level element to child elements tied to WBS and OBS structure which provides selected visualizations and graphs of trend analysis for determination of cost and schedule performance drivers.
  11. Element of Cost breakouts in addition to WBS and OBS analysis.
  12. Graphs providing predictability including IEACs, IETCs, CPIcum and TCPI
  13. Schedule performance information integrated with WBS, OBS, work package, and tasks.
  14. Critical path analysis of the IMS, including critical path changes.
  15. Schedule performance graphs that include task completions, BEI, CEI, FEI, and Finish variance drivers.
  16. Schedule forecast metrics that include bow wave analysis, late start/finish aging,
  17. Schedule predictability graphs that include schedule execution and baseline realism
  18. Composition visualization of complete, in-process, and future work compared to early, on-time, and late schedule activities.
  19. Completion duration visualization that illustrates, late, same, or shorter than baseline performance across complete, in-process, and future schedule activities.
  20. Composition of schedule broken out by type (activity, milestone, summary, and hammock) and activity/milestone status breakout (completed, in-process, and planned).
  21. IMS visualization (bar graph) illustrating average duration compared to baseline for total, completed, in-process, and planned activities.
  22. DCMA 14-point analysis with detailed summarization and trending for categorizations of high duration, high float, negative float, missing logic, constraints, leads and lags.
  23. Work package level details to control account including open work packages, planning packages, and closed work packages
  24. Incorporation of cost and schedule variance analysis reports, integrated with and highlighting those elements in the WBS tree associated with the VAR.
  25. Narratives submitted in IPMDAR that include Detailed EAC report, Staffing Changes, PMB Changes, UB/MR analysis, schedule analysis, miscellaneous including contract mods, IBR, associated info, retroactive changes, and other topics of interest, Cost/Schedule forecast.
  26. Government narrative inputs as appropriate.
